About Us

Dr. Roozbeh Ghavami, MD MSc MBA, is local to the PhillyMedClub area. He attended Temple University and SMUFOM with co-founding physician Dr. Wayne Raneiro. Dr. Ghavami is residency trained in Internal Medicine and practices medicine in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. During his residency training, Dr. Ghavami was the only resident to receive both the faculty award for academic and medical excellence and nursing award for patient care, compassion and respect three consecutive years in a row. He is a proud member of American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.

He is an experienced hospitalist with a background in critical care. He has enjoyed his role as a beloved clinical instructor to many medicine residents throughout the years at the large local university hospitals. He has received recognition for providing the highest quality of care, patient compassion and satisfaction in care. His Press Ganey scores consistently rank in the top 95% in patient satisfaction, reflecting his commitment to patient care. His philosophy of what medical care should entail is based on his years of experience, and ability to communicate with his patients. With this philosophy, he and his partner, Dr. Raniero, developed their model for PhillyMedClub.

Dr. Ghavami is proud to bring his practice to Fishtown, a place he also calls home. He is eager to help his patients thrive by nurturing their physical and aesthetic well-being as well as provide his community with outstanding medical care. Dr. Raneiro is a co-founding member of PhillyMedClub and proud to be a Philadelphia native. He received his undergraduate degree at Temple University and attended SMUFOM for medical school. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Oklahoma and is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Raneiro specializes in acute and preventative care and has almost a decade of experience in primary and urgent care. He has practiced in both rural and urban settings throughout Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, and Oregon. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Academy of Facial Aesthetics.

His background in preventative care and family medicine is essential to executing the overall mission of PhillyMedClub. Dr. Raniero is committed to his patients, consistently staying in the top 95% in his Press Ganey scores. He believes in developing relationships based on communication and trust, as these types of doctor-patient relationships are of paramount importance to delivering the best patient outcomes and experiences.

Martha Villarin, CRNP, is a skilled nursing professional with over a decade of experience. She graduated from Drexel University with her BSN in 2012 and continued her education, achieving her Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2020. As a board-certified nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, she has proven her expertise and dedication to nursing. Martha has worked in various settings, including acute care in a hospital and outpatient clinics. She is committed to providing her patients with the highest level of care and takes pride in helping them achieve their health goals. Martha is passionate about her work and strives to ensure her patients feel and look their best.
