The doctor you choose is the doctor who treats you. You select your provider when you book, and that provider performs the treatment — no substitutions, and no being handed to someone else once you are in the room. Laser hair removal and facials are performed by our licensed medical aestheticians.

Concierge & Primary Care

A 100-patient panel with direct physician access, appointments within 36 hours, and unhurried visits. This is primary care rather than aesthetics, run by the same physicians.

Injectables: Botox, fillers and Sculptra

Botox and other neurotoxins, plus dermal fillers, injected by a physician or advanced practice nurse. Filler and Sculptra are placed under ultrasound guidance, which is uncommon in this market and is the reason we can see exactly where a product is going before it goes there.

Advanced skin treatments

Radiofrequency microneedling, fractional laser resurfacing and targeted treatments for texture, scarring, pigment and laxity. All microneedling is performed by a physician or advanced practice nurse, never an aesthetician, and PRP is included rather than sold as an upgrade.

Medical facials and peels

Facials and chemical peels performed by our licensed medical aestheticians, Carla and Jennifer. These are the treatments where downtime is measured in hours rather than days.

Laser hair removal

Laser hair removal is performed on the Candela GentleMax Pro, a dual-wavelength platform cleared for all skin types I through VI. Treatments, including men's laser hair removal for the back, chest and beard line, are carried out by our licensed medical aestheticians.

Regenerative treatments

Platelet-rich plasma and platelet-rich fibrin drawn from your own blood, used for hair, skin and joints. Joint injections are performed under ultrasound guidance by Dr. Ghavami, which is what allows a needle to be placed accurately rather than by landmark alone.

IV therapy and wellness

Physician-administered infusions and injections, including prescription anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory medication where appropriate — which is the practical difference between a medical practice and an IV bar. Medical weight loss and testosterone replacement sit here too.

A physician-led med spa in Philadelphia

PhillyMedClub is a med spa in the sense most people mean when they search for one: Botox, fillers, skin treatments, laser hair removal and facials, all under one roof in Fishtown. What is different is who runs it. The practice is owned and operated by two physicians, Dr. Roozbeh Ghavami and Dr. Wayne Raneiro, who treat patients here themselves, and a physician is on site every day we are open.

In practice that changes two things. You choose your provider when you book, and that provider performs your treatment — the booking system shows you who before you pay, and nobody is substituted once you are in the room. And the physicians who perform aesthetic treatments also practice primary care here, so when a concern turns out to be medical rather than cosmetic, it can be assessed as one. Laser hair removal, facials and peels are performed by our licensed medical aestheticians.
